MURPHYSBORO, IL– U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced that his re-election campaign has been endorsed by 35 mayors and village presidents from across the newly redistricted 12th Congressional District. These endorsements add to the list of 21 Republican Central Committee Leaders and 4 State Representatives who have announced their support for Bost.

Bost’s coalition of support includes the 12th District Central Committee chair and vice-chair; all 11 county chairs from Bost’s current district; and seven chairs redistricted from the current 15th District into the new 12th District.

Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Bost

MURPHYSBORO, IL – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced that the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police have endorsed his reelection campaign.

Council of Prison Locals Endorses Bost

MURPHYSBORO, IL – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced that the Council of Prison Locals C-33 has endorsed his reelection campaign. Council of Prison Locals C-33, a part of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), represents more than 30,000 bargaining unit employees in the United States. The Council is comprised of workers in virtually all levels of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

United Mine Workers Endorse Bost

MURPHYSBORO, IL – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) was joined by Bernie Harsy, president of United Mine Workers Local 1825, to announce that Bost’s re-election campaign has been endorsed by the United Mine Workers of America.

“For many years, the United Mine Workers of America struggled to get legislation passed to guarantee health care and pensions for all UMWA pensioners and surviving spouses,”said Bernie Harsy. “Without this legislation, thousands of pensioners and surviving spouses would have lost their pensions and health care due to over 50 coal companies filing for bankruptcy over a period of several years. Congressman Bost played a major role in getting this legislation passed. Postal Unions Endorse Bost

MURPHYSBORO, IL – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced that his re-election campaign has been endorsed by the National Association of Letter Carriers and the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association, two of the most influential postal workers’ unions in America.

“I am proud to be endorsed by the National Association of Letter Carriers and the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association,” said Bost. “Time after time, our postal workers deliver for the American people, and it’s important that they have a voice in Congress. That’s why I recently voted to provide $25 billion in emergency funding for postal operations and have consistently fought against planned cuts to postal services, Saturday deliveries, and rural operations.
