MIKE BOST ANNOUNCES RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN, TRUMP ENDORSEMENT

MURPHYSBORO, IL – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) launched his campaign for re-election at Thursday evening’s Monroe County GOP Century Club Dinner with the full endorsement of President Donald Trump. Bost, a two-time Illinois co-chair of Trump’s campaign, has earned Trump’s endorsement in five consecutive election cycles.

“President Trump is saving our nation for the second time, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have his endorsement as we work together to advance the America First agenda,” said Bost. “In a short time, we’ve made historic strides in protecting American workers, ending the border crisis, and advancing our conservative values, but our work is far from over. This Marine isn’t finished fighting for the incredible people of Southern Illinois.”

In a Truth Social post announcing his endorsement of Bost Thursday evening, Trump said, “Congressman Mike Bost is a Tremendous Champion for Illinois’ 12th Congressional District! A U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, and Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Mike is fighting tirelessly to Strengthen our Military, Care for our Veterans, Stop Crime, Stand with our Brave Law Enforcement, Secure our Border, Cut Taxes, Promote Energy DOMINANCE, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment. He has been with us from the very beginning, helping us, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. Mike Bost has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election – HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

Bost was first elected to Congress in 2014 and has long been a key Trump ally on issues ranging from border security and public safety to protecting American manufacturing, the Second Amendment and pro-life values. Prior to his election to Congress, Bost served as a state legislator, small business owner, professional firefighter, and a United States Marine.

PRESIDENT TRUMP ENDORSES MIKE BOST FOR CONGRESS

MURPHYSBORO, IL– The 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, announced today that he has endorsed U.S. Rep. Mike Bost in his campaign for re-election against challenger Darren Bailey.

“Congressman Mike Bost is doing a fantastic job representing the Great People of Illinois’ 12th Congressional District. While I like and respect Darren Bailey, and was proud to campaign for him in 2022, Mike Bost was one of the first House Committee Chairmen to endorse my Campaign, and Mike was a stalwart supporter of our America First agenda during my record-setting Administration,” said President Trump. “As Chairman of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Mike is doing an incredible job providing our Brave and Patriotic Veterans with the care they deserve. He is working hard to Secure the Border, Champion American Agriculture, Strengthen the Military, Grow the Economy, and Protect and Defend our under siege Second Amendment. Mike Bost has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

“It is a tremendous honor to have President Trump’s full support and total endorsement of my campaign,” said Bost. “His leadership made us stronger at home and more respected across the world. I will do all I can to help put President Trump back to the White House because we are fighting for the same things: a secure our border, a strong Second Amendment, an end to the wokeness plaguing our country, and putting America FirstI look forward to standing side-by-side with him in the fight to Make America Great Again once we’re both re-elected this November.”

BOST ENDORSED BY LEADING HOUSE CONSERVATIVE ELISE STEFANIK

U.S. Rep. Mike Bost (IL-12) announced that U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), the House Republican Conference chair and leading ally of President Trump, has endorsed his re-election campaign. Stefanik gained national prominence recently for her committee questioning of liberal university presidents who were protecting violent antisemitic hate speech on campus.

“Mike Bost is an America First conservative who holds the D.C. liberals accountable and delivers real results for his district,” said Stefanik. “That’s the type of leadership we desperately need in Washington right now. I’m proud to endorse Mike Bost for re-election and look forward to continuing our work together to strengthen America’s future.”

“Elise is a conservative rockstar in Congress who fights hard to hold the liberals accountable for their hypocrisy and hate speech,” said Bost. “I am thankful for her endorsement and leadership as we work to re-elect President Trump and advance the America First agenda in the House.”

Stefanik’s endorsement adds to the growing list of conservatives endorsing Bost’s re-election. Bost’s campaign has been endorsed by over 150 GOP local officials, National Right to Life, NRA, Illinois Farm Bureau, Illinois FOP State Lodge, Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois, Speaker Mike Johnson, and leading House conservatives Jim Jordan, Byron Donalds, Ronny Jackson, and Max Miller. NFIB ENDORSES BOST FOR RE-ELECTION

U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced that his 2024 re-election campaign has been endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization.

“Our members continue to face challenges and setbacks – from rampant inflation and labor shortages to high taxes and over-regulation. It is vital for us to back candidates like you who focus on solutions that will bring certainty and stability to small business,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “On behalf of NFIB members in the 12th District and throughout America, congratulations on your endorsement. We are thrilled to support your campaign and look forward to working with you to help small businesses thrive.”

“I have a long history with the NFIB, dating back to when my father served on the NFIB state board while running our family’s trucking company,” said Bost. “I’ve owned a small business, and I understand what it is like to sign both sides of a paycheck. I know our job creators in Southern Illinois are struggling in Joe Biden’s economy. I am thankful to receive the endorsement of NFIB because they recognize I am fighting to cut through big government bureaucracy so our small businesses can flourish.”

NRA ENDORSES MIKE BOST FOR CONGRESS

U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced that his 2024 re-election campaign has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF). Bost has now been endorsed by the largest gun rights and pro-life advocacy groups in America, along with the top organizations representing Illinois’ farmers, law enforcement, and firefighters.

“As Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, you are leading the effort to protect veterans from being deprived of their Second Amendment rights without due process of law. We thank you for your continued opposition to the Hakeem Jeffries and Joe Biden gun control agenda of banning lawfully-owned firearms, ammunition, and magazines,” said Randy Kozuch, Chairman of the NRA-PFV. “Thank you for defending NRA members and law-abiding gun owners in Illinois and throughout the country. Congratulations on your endorsement and thank you for your support of the Second Amendment.”

“Failed politicians will make a big show out of supporting the Second Amendment, but when push comes to shove, they never deliver. Well, that’s not Mike Bost, said Bost. “The Second Amendment is not a publicity stunt to me. From my work in Springfield, where I was the lead sponsor of Illinois’ conceal carry law, to my time in Congress, where I am standing on the frontlines against woke liberals trying to take away our guns, I will never back down. I thank the NRA and gun owners across Southern Illinois for their strong support.”

###

ILLINOIS FIREFIGHTERS BACK BOST FOR RE-ELECTION

“As a former professional firefighter, I understand the dedication and sacrifices made by first responders across Southern Illinois,” said Bost. “I am proud to have earned the support of my brothers and sisters in AFFI and look forward to working with them on matters of public safety.”

###

ILLINOIS FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE STATE LODGE ENDORSES BOST

U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) announced that his 2024 re-election campaign has been endorsed by the Illinois Fraternal of Police State Lodge.

“The men and women of law enforcement have always known they can count on Mike Bost for his unwavering support. Mike has always had our backs, even when many other elected officials abandoned us,” said Chris Southwood, Illinois FOP State Lodge President. “He has supported bills to give law enforcement officers better pay and benefits in our dangerous but vital profession. The Illinois FOP State Lodge gives Mike Bost our sincere and hearty endorsement.”

“I have never wavered in my support for our law enforcement officers, especially now when woke liberals in Illinois and Washington, D.C. continue to demonize them with an anti-police agenda,” said Bost. “I would like to thank the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge for putting their confidence in my re-election. I’ll always Back the Blue in Congress and will never stop defending the brave men and women who protect and serve our communities.”
